Atoms For Peace : Side-Project Becomes Official

After a few, special performances of recent shows, with the marque at premier Los Angeles, Ca. destinations only reading; ?????? Thom Yorke (Radiohead) and bassist Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) have formed, announced and named an official music group; Atoms For Peace.

The group will also include drummer Joey Waronker (Beck) and percussionist Mauro Refosco. They have been taking the project around to other specific venues trying a host of differing material. The history apparently began as the touring group that would back Yorke in the live performances of his self-debuted album “The Eraser”.

As reported on Rolling Stone a few days ago; “Atoms For Peace kick off their trek with two shows at New York’s Roseland Ballroom and then slowly creep back west; the tour is currently set to wrap with the Coachella performance on April 18th.”
